When architectural graduate Annalie Riches decided it was time to move out of her shared, dingy student accommodation, she convinced her Italian and Spanish friends over a couple of drinks to build a house together. Two years later the three young architects pooled their modest funds to design and build their own houses. The site being peaceful and quiet was slotted between Victorian terraces in Dalston, North-East London which, gave the property an atmosphere the trio loved. Inspired by the surrounding traditional terrace houses in the area, the friends designed three different units within the uniform frame of an inventive and contemporary terrace. Agreeing to make the terrace walls from polycarbonate cladding and double glazed glass it was up to each architect to design their own interior space.
