A pretty 18th century estate worker's cottage near Aldeburgh and the Suffolk coast. Built in soft red brick and caught in time with an old cart lodge, cobbled courtyard and water pump outside. Charming, cosy interiors were carefully and lovingly restored by the owners who are enthusiastic collectors and once ran their own antique shop. They have furnished the cottage to keep it true to its history reusing all the original materials like Suffolk white floor bricks and introducing period furniture and accessories found at local junk shops and auctions, usually picked up for a pittance.
