AC007: Living and Working at home
Photos: Alun Callender / Narratives
Text & styling: Sian Lewis / Narratives

The home of James and Johnny on one of the oldest streets in Arundel, West Sussex, backing onto river Arun. An 1850s building which also houses the couple's art gallery downstairs whilst they live upstairs. James is able to show clients that modern art can work really well in a period property and is a great example of live/work building.

They installed a new kitchen in the basement and built the striking wood and metal balcony on the back of the house that links house, gallery and garden. The amazing bath on the wooden raised platform in the main bedroom is stunning.

Decorated in Georgian paint colours and William Morris Wallpaper, furnished with antique furniture with modern art.
