Elizabeth and Derek Baer live in an early Georgian house built in 1731, in the beautiful small market town of Bradford on Avon.
Built in Bath stone, the architecture of the house with its magnificent Palladian facade is almost certainly designed or inspired by the famous Bath architect John Wood.
It has a splendid hall with classic pillars and a slate floor.
An elegant staircase that delights every visitor leads to light and open landings on the two upper floors between wonderfully spacious bedrooms. The square, high ceilinged rooms, are flooded with light from the many tall Georgian sash windows, all of which have pretty painted shutters.
