This London townhouse works hard to provide a comfortable family home
as well as display space for eclectic collections of antique furniture,
colourful glass, and costume jewellery
The owners: Louise Ferdinando is a vintage costume jewellery dealer
( and her husband Thomas Woodham-Smith is an
antiques dealer and the creative director for the Masterpiece fair in London
They have two sons: Vladimir [20] and Inigo [17]
The property: This four bedroom four storey London townhouse was built at
the end of the Regency period, in 1829; it was substantially altered in the
1970s when the two main reception rooms were knocked through into their
current L shape.
Your decorating style: Louise says: ‘Simple and unfussy. As Thomas and I
have so many varied collections, we tend to choose muted paint colours and
unpatterned soft furnishings.’
