French chic meets English country in this newly renovated Hampshire barn.Twinkling tealights and natural foliage add a transformative seasonal touch. Stepping in from the cold into Natalie Wood’s welcoming rural Hampshire home, the festive aroma of Christmas greets you. Freshly cut branches of spruce, combined with bundles of holly, eucalyptus, ivy and frosty white berries grace old zinc buckets and antique confit pots throughout, whilst the
comforting smell of freshly made mulled wine, acts as a precursor of treats to come.
Having spent over a year in search of her home, Natalie had been looking to swap a buzzy town centre terrace, for somewhere quieter and more rural. The Dairy House, originally part of a larger working estate, was one of several old barns to have been totally knocked down and rebuilt 30 years previously. Despite the modern rebuild the space felt dated - yet had all the potential Natalie had been looking for.
