When Miranda and Edward Gore Browne bought a 1930’s red-bricked rectory overlooking the South Downs, they fulfilled a dream turning it into a Georgian family home. If there was an award for the most dramatic house façade transformation it would surely go to Miranda and Edward Gore Browne. ‘We simply could not find a Georgian property within our budget, so we decided to create a look alike with the ingredients at hand,’ says Miranda, well known by Great British Bake Off viewers for working her magic with culinary ingredients.
